Regretfully we had one injury the took an Air Med flight! Motoxstudios will be giving prizes to the top 3 finishers from each class! (Video) August 9, 2009 Down South mx Track Changes Aug 9, 2009 Track Changes (Photos @ 10:00am) Aug 9, 2009 Track Changes-2 (Photos @ 8:00pm) View MXS Flash Report (Video) August 8, 2009 Mitchel Suire got a mid pack start and battled up into 20th place un till he crashed out of the race with an injured wrist. (9:53am) Thankfully Mitchel did not have any broken bones so they loaded up and headed home. (10:45am) Hunter Hilton Got himself a 7th place over all in his Mod class today, but he fell hard just before the finish line and did not finish the race. (4:15pm) August 7, 2009 Hunter Hilton is set to podium in the 85-Stock class tomorrow, at this point he is set to start his 3rd moto in 2nd place. (12:14pm) Saturday is the last day of racing at Loretta's this year and every rider will give his best in hopes of becoming a champion! August 6, 2009 Hunter Hilton had a bad start or had a fall and was 35th on the second lap (1:43pm), then 28th (1:47pm) as the race went on and the field spread out could not tell what place he was in (1:51pm). Hunter worked his way up up thru the pack to finish 20th (2:00pm). Mitchel Suire ran a good race with no major incident and got an 18th place (2:48pm) Conner Lawrence a rider from Monroe Louisiana got a very good 4th place in his moto. Lance Vincent looked like he tied another rider for the Hole Shot, battled and went down and looked to have worked his way into a 10th place finish (5:43pm) Hunter Hilton in another moto today Hunter hit the track running in 5th then worked his way into 4th, after a long hot Loretta's moto Hunter on the last turn took the outside and got passed on the inside to finish 5th (7:01pm). August 5, 2009 Racing was delayed today due to the rain that made all the mud they had to remove before the racing started. (7:34 am) got pinched of in the first turn and injured his thumb, he managed to finish the race with a 30th place. Mitchel had to buy a header pipe for his bike because it got bent in the first moto incident. (10:14 am) Hunter Hilton got the hole shot and held on to first place for 3 laps and then dropped back to 2nd where he would finish the race. (1:44 pm) August 4, 2009 Just got word from Hoot Parker that a tornado just missed the track at 9:00pm. Also that Mr. Parker got a 26th in his first moto today. (9:22 pm) Trampas Parker got a 4th today in his first moto. Conner Lawrence from Monroe La. got a 7th in class 18-51cc Stock Shaft Dr.4-6 age (7:35 pm) Hunter Hilton on his first lap is in 9th, then 7th, then 6th, then 5th, then 4th now back to 5th and looks like he is getting tired, will up date when we get more info. (6:15pm) Jeremy Domingue in his first moto had a fall that left him not remembering the race, he got lapped but he did finish the first moto. (11:30am) Jeremy in another class was mid pack on the first lap, then he fell and was running 37th, next lap 34th, another lap and he is 29th, two laps later in 27th not sure what he finished but Jeremy seems to not be having the best day. (5:48pm) Mitchel Suire did not get into the Mod class as an alternate. (Posted at 9:53 am) Lance Vincent pulled the field with a hole shot, fell behind and is running third. (Posted at 8:45 am) Lance now is running 13th (Posted at 8:46 am) Lance has worked his way up to 9th (Posted at 8:47 am) Caleb Bertrand practice today but a back injury is going to keep him out the race. (Posted at 8:45 am) It is reported that Jamie Lynn Spears is at the races so all the boys are going nuts. (Posted at 8:40 am) Lance Vincent races at 8.30 Jeremy Domingue is at 10:30 Hunter Hilton is at 6:00 pm (posted at 8:30 am) Down South mx today had the Hot Dog Shoot and the track was great. Lance Vincent #45 Honda of Houston rider came out to get his first ride in since he broke his foot. Lance did not look at all like the foot would be a problem at Loretta's this year so we should see a great week of racing from him. Video of Lance Vincent is on MXSFilms NOW. Down South and MXS, Hot Dog Shoot ! DATE: Wednesday July 15, 2009. If we do not get rain it is on. Call before you haul. Location: Down South mx, or known as New Iberia. The Deal: FREE Hot Dogs for all that attend, bring a drink. MXS Films will shoot video of the ride for posting on our site. If we do not have your name and # most likely you will not be in the video so please sign in so we can include you. Mitchel Suire had a practice out at Down South today in preparation for the 2009 Loretta Lynn's run for the prize! (Posted 7-11-09 5.00pm) June 17, 2009 Shaun Romero one of the New Iberia Romero's had a get off after the Double Double and landed in the face of the Supercross jump. On Thursday the 18 of June Shaun had surgery to repair his hip socket. At this point he is home and starting his recovery from the accident and is out for Loretta's this year.
